What kinds of items are you looking for?
MetroHippie reviews clean, authentic, resale-ready clothing, premium denim, shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, shoes, and handbags. Modern designer, quality boutique, sought-after everyday brands, and select vintage pieces are considered case by case.
What usually is not accepted?
Counterfeit items, strong odors, heavy pilling, major stains or damage, broken hardware, and pieces with very limited resale demand are usually not a fit. Please point out any wear in your photos and notes.
Is the photo review free?
Yes. Sending photos is free and there is no obligation to accept an offer or move forward with consignment.
What is the difference between a cash offer and consignment?
A cash offer is a set amount offered after the items are inspected and accepted. With consignment, MetroHippie handles preparation, photography, listing, buyer communication, and shipping, then pays you according to the agreed terms after an item sells. The exact split, listing period, payout timing, and return terms will be provided before you hand over any items.
What photos should I send?
Include full front and back views, brand and size labels, material or care labels when helpful, and close-ups of any wear. Two to eight clear photos are ideal for the initial review.
How many items can I submit?
Anything from one special piece to a closet of 50 or more items. For a large closet, start with representative photos and a list of the strongest brands or categories.
Do you offer local pickup or shipping?
Local pickup in the Paris, Tennessee area may be available for accepted closets, subject to scheduling. A local drop-off can also be arranged. If you are outside the area, shipping may be possible after MetroHippie reviews the photos and confirms arrangements with you.
Does submitting the form mean my items are accepted?
No. A submission starts a review only. Nothing is final until MetroHippie inspects the items, confirms acceptance in writing, and you agree to the cash offer or consignment terms.
How quickly will I hear back?
Response time depends on the number and size of current submissions. MetroHippie is a growing, hands-on shop, so every closet is reviewed personally. You will be contacted as soon as the photos can be evaluated carefully.
Do items need to be authentic?
Yes. You must own the items and have a good-faith belief that they are authentic. MetroHippie may decline or request additional documentation for any item with authenticity concerns.
