Information we collect
When you request a closet review, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, optional phone number, ZIP code, selling preference, approximate item count, descriptions, condition notes, fulfillment preference, item photos, and your ownership and authenticity confirmation.
We also keep simple aggregate traffic counts for the pages visited, the day of the visit, and a broad referral category such as Google, Instagram, Poshmark, Etsy, another website, or direct traffic. This first-party measurement does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses, full referring URLs, or a visitor profile.
How we use information
We use submitted information to evaluate items, contact you about an offer or consignment option, arrange pickup, drop-off, or shipping, provide customer service, keep the site secure, and understand which MetroHippie promotions are useful.
Photos and private submissions
Closet-review submissions are not published. Uploaded photos are stored in a private folder outside the public WordPress media library and are available only to an authorized site administrator. Notification emails do not include photo attachments.
When information is shared
MetroHippie may use hosting, email, and other service providers only as needed to operate the website and communicate with you. Item details may be shared with a resale marketplace only after you agree to move forward. MetroHippie does not sell your personal information.
Retention and your choices
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for review, a transaction, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your closet-review information by emailing steph@metrohippie.me. Some records may be retained when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or transaction purposes.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not submit sensitive financial, government identification, or medical information through the closet-review form.
Children
This website and its selling services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18.
Policy changes and contact
